We did not win the war but we can say that winning at least one battle is a step towards rehabilitating cannabis and helping millions of patients who are treated with the plant.

In a historic vote, the United Nations recognized the therapeutic value of cannabis.

The UN Drugs Commission accepted by a majority (27 member states against 25) a recommendation from the World Health Organization asking to remove cannabis from Table IV of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 (!). substances of extremely low medical and therapeutic value.

And finally, however, cannabis has been given a different weight. This means allowing scientific research to advance in studies on its medical properties. And politically, the decision is also important for Italy (which voted yes in the UN Commission) which in the future could expand access to therapies and change internal legislation on the matter.

But there is still a lot to do and there are still tables to be updated, considered dated and not very functional because they do not correspond to scientific evidence matured over the years.
We don't stop. We will give hemp the dignity it deserves.
